Launching our Autumn programme of events
Over the summer we've been working on a programme of author talks and events that we think you will like and so we are now pleased to be able to announce what we have planned between now and Christmas.
From the history of our country told in a brilliantly new way to an urban pavement safari to uncover the wild plants and wildlife that often goes unnoticed as we walk around town. And from an epic journey exploring the chalk figures carved into our landscapes, and our culture, to the lives of the women who played a big part in the work of one of our county's finest writers. Plus, a spooky look at the darker side of this beautiful county with tales of terror close to home!
Back by popular demand, Teasel & Skylark's Great Big Bookish Quiz Night for Charity will this time be (slightly Christmassy) and also returning after the success of our Hardy-themed live audiobook earlier in the year, we have two standalone readings in time for Hallowe'en and Christmas.
