Marble Hall Murders by Anthony Horowitz
Featuring his book-within-a-book detective, Atticus Pund, and the long-suffering real-world editor Susan Ryeland, this is the third novel in the series by the ingenious Anthony Horowitz. Following on from Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders, this book maintains a similar approach but manages to be refreshingly different in style and premise, and more importantly provides another hugely entertaining read, keeping you guessing and head-scratching right through to the end. I particularly enjoy Horowitz’s writing style which makes reading a real pleasure, along with light touches of humour, wit and much intelligence. Out in paperback from 25 September and available at Teasel and Skylark, pop in and treat yourself soon. David
