A huge thank you to the brilliant Amanda Tuke who treated us to a truly unique event on Saturday 17 October - and a first for Dorchester - a guided safari tour of the county town, on the hunt for the amazing nature to be found in the most unlikely nooks and crannies - on pavements, walls and buildings.
After the tour, Amanda told us a bit more about how her fascinating book, Wild Pavements, came to be written, and its importance in promoting an interest in nature, no matter where it is to be found, and that you don't need big landscapes to experience its beauty - it's literally on our doorstep! And that’s exactly what we believe in Teasel & Skylark.
Thanks Amanda, and thank you to all the eager listeners who came to enjoy this brilliant event!
Stay tuned for more of our events soon.
